The second phase is the run. When the run is initiated by the team using the football, the ball is rolled over the blockers without using any of the player's feet. If the run is unsuccessful, the team must restart the play all over again. If any player of either team touches the ball after it is rolled over the blockers, he becomes out of the game and receives a penalty.
